Davidson Roberts Nurseries value their holistic approach to childcare through the Early Years Foundation Stage (2012). Our Early Years Practitioners plan to each child’s individual learning needs to ensure your child receives high quality care and education every day.
Your child’s learning journey is recorded and regular next steps are shared with parents to ensure continuous support and progression.
Our home from home approach means that we are able to support and encourage the next generation to become nurturing confident, caring and curious children.
We promise you the highest standards of care and nursery education, tailored to your child’s individual interests and needs.
We are now offering Forest School sessions at several of our settings. Forest School is an inspirational process, which offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. It is our aim to implement the forest school style of teaching to encourage the children to use the natural resources around them and explore nature.
Forest Schools give the children the opportunity to learn skills that could help them, such as building fires, erecting temporary shelters and wood carving in a safe environment. We carry ‘risk benefits’ as opposed to risk assessments. This ensures the children get the most from the experience, but safely.
